Auckland CDB's shared spaces
Last reviewed: 11/01/2013 1:55 p.m.

David Steemson from National Radio went on walkabout with AT's Manager Major Projects and PMO, Rick Walden and Auckland Council's Manager Environmental Strategy and Policy, Ludo Campbell-Reid, and spoke to business owners about the effect of Auckland's shared spaces.

These are streets where cars and pedestrians have to share the space - a controversial idea that businesses have found is putting money into the tills and bringing new life and energy to the city.

The interesting documentary takes the listener on a tour of the shared spaces with commentary from the people involved in designing them.

Listen to the Shared Spaces- Auckland City Mojo podcast (broadcast on Afternoons on National Radio on 5 December 2012. Length: 10 minutes, 39 seconds)
