You can now get your car washed or drop off your dry cleaning at the Downtown Car Park. Auckland Transport has partnered with The Clean NZ and Ceda Drycleaning to give customers extra services when they park their vehicle.

The site is located on the ground floor of the car park building directly through the entrance barrier arms.

The Clean NZ has been in business eight years and the Downtown Car Park is its 14th site. It provides a range of vehicle cleaning services starting at $30. For more information visit: www.theclean.co.nz

Ceda Drycleaning has set up a drop-off/pick-up point for dry cleaning at The Clean's Customer Service Desk.

Duncan McEwan from The Clean NZ says: “The Clean has a history of providing quality eco-friendly wash services and is proud to partner with Auckland Transport on this exciting project.”

This trial will be at no cost to Auckland Transport, in fact it will generate income from leasing space.

Auckland Transport Parking Manager Trevor Starr says: “We want to make our car parking buildings more than just somewhere to leave your vehicle.”

He says this is just the start; Auckland Transport is looking at adding other services to its car parking buildings.
