Media Release: 30 March 2012

Auckland Transport advises tertiary student HOP card holders they have one more day to renew the concession on their HOP cards in order to continue to receive a tertiary student discounted fare.

HOP card concession renewal is an annual process required to be completed by customers who travel on a child or tertiary student concession fares.

Renewal is simple and easy and can be done by filling in an online form at myhop.co.nz.  Secondary school students aged 16 years or older and tertiary students also need to attach a copy of their student ID with their application. Either a scanned copy or a digital photograph of your ID is acceptable.

Concession renewal forms are also available from Britomart Transport Centre, New Lynn and Newmarket train stations.
