Auckland Transport is responsible for delivering transport to the people of Auckland.  It also prepares the region’s land transport programme which sets out projects and services to be funded by the Auckland Council over the next three years.

Prior to 1 November 2010, local road and public transport functions were managed by eight Auckland local authorities and the Auckland Regional Transport Authority (ARTA). The publications site reflects this structure.

Publications are grouped by geographic location with the name and/or description listing the organisation who produced the document.

These public documents include annual reports, business plans, strategies, long-term plans and engineering design standards.
