Auckland Transport’s objective of improving transport is aimed at making it easier for people to get around Auckland the way they want. Some of the ways we achieve this are maintaining current infrastructure; developing new, innovative travel solutions; promoting walking, cycling and public transport usage by improving facilities and safety; encouraging feedback from the community with consultations and information days.
