Travelling on bus, ferry or train

Public transport is more easily accessible when buses have low floors. In other cases wide aisles and reserved wheelchair seating is on hand.

In many instances, wheelchairs can be carried on buses, trains and ferries.

For more information about accessibility features on services in your area, please call the MAXX contact centre on (09) 366 6400, or check with the public transport operator.

Concession fares

Discount fares are available for bus, train and ferry travel, please contact MAXX, phone (09) 366 6400.
