Last reviewed: 3/05/2012 3:13 p.m.

From time to time community groups or other organisations want to temporarily close a road, to allow for an event to take place.

Examples are:

Parades (i.e. Christmas Parade)

Cycle races

Motorsport events

Music and cultural events

To find more information about planning your event and permits you might need, including an application for a temporary road closure, please go to the Events section on the Auckland Council website.
